We have been successful in expanding our business, attracting high-profile clients such as BAA, Network Rail and the Highways Agency and have recently joined the Fugro Group - one of the world's leading geoscience companies.
To maintain business growth in the UK and abroad, we are looking for enthusiastic people to join us as Project Engineers immediately and throughout 2008.
We currently have opportunities in all 3 divisions:
Transport Infrastructure: investigating roads and railways
Structures: investigating bridges, tunnels and modern and historic buildings.
Ground: conducting a wide range of geophysical methods for geotechnical, geological and environmental applications for both shallow and relatively deeper surveys.
Your workload will be varied and challenging, ranging from co-ordinating on-site data collection in a range of demanding environments, to processing the data collected and producing reports. The minimum qualification for this position is a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Earth Science, Geophysics or Physics, or at least 3 years' relevant experience. The successful candidate must be able to fill a role within this team and adapt to various situations as they arise. They must also be self motivated and enthusiastic.
You will have excellent computer skills and a UK driving licence, a strong pride in your work and a good sense of humour. You will relish the challenge of travelling frequently (both in the UK and overseas) and undertaking work that is often both physically and mentally demanding.
