DIPA2011

A one day conference addressing topical issues surrounding pavement assessment
12 July 2011
Midlands Engineering Centre, Austin Court, Birmingham [map]

Overview

At a time when the pressure is on to patch every pothole and get through to next year, is it possible to take a longer term view? This year's speakers will describe various developments and projects where an innovative approach has squeezed better value from budgets and facilitated wider benefits beyond the day to day remit of pavement management.

In its eleventh year, the event remains unique in the highways calendar as the place to learn about policy, best practice and developments in technical surveys and pavement management. Topics include innovation in local authority asset management, material performance, pavement testing, and the link between road condition and safety. Speakers include respected figures from local government, consultancies and data collection specialists who will address the numerous challenges facing highways managers.

You should attend if you are involved in pavement assessment, maintenance or management.
